Solar geoengineering is an enormous risk. We don’t know if it will work to reduce solar radiation. We know it won’t tackle some of our very serious problems. We don’t know what very dangerous side effects might accompany its use. And to add to the craziness of it all, we have currently available cheaper, safer options that we know work.
